Welsh athlete Aaron Ramsey has raised the incentive for details regarding the missing canine named Halo to £15k.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now represents Pumas UNAM in the capital, mentioned that Halo was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato region.
Halo, who vanished on October 9th, was had on a tracking device, and the footballer published a exact coordinates of where she was last seen.
"Any updates concerning our beloved Halo kindly contact us. Significant incentive for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she is safe and will return to our family quickly," Ramsey shared on Instagram.
Initial Bounty and Emotional Pleas
Ramsey initially revealed that his dog had gone missing a fortnight back and has since uploaded numerous photos of the beloved pet on Instagram.
A $$10k reward was initially announced, but with lack of updates on the dog's status after a week, Ramsey and his loved ones doubled the sum.
"We just want our girl back," he stated in a further plea on his online platforms after the 10-year-old pet was lost.
A recent image upload is a black and white snapshot of Halo napping, its head resting in the bend of Ramsey's elbow, with the message: "What I'd do to cuddle you one last time Halo."
Family's Concerns and Background
The footballer has also posted a statement from his spouse Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have several "pressing concerns" about the incident and worry the household "may never obtain clarity".
"We have yet to are still searching for our dog. It is unlikely we will," his wife's message stated.
The Wales skipper signed with Mexican first division team Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and made his first appearance in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
