Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to explore a new agreement with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently halfway through the four-year agreement he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, helping them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the initial important honor of his notable career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has recently mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about going back home as he earlier was, and would seriously contemplate prolonging his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of extending longer, I could absolutely see that," he stated.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be willing to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had escaped him until he won the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy drought, but now feels it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
