Our Partners at the Fextralife Team Launch a New Home for Game Modifications
The customization scene is increasingly larger or as in demand as it is today. Modders who built fresh gameplay elements for beloved games such as Skyrim and Baldur’s Gate III have landed major industry jobs. Entire games were developed on the backs of others. A creator even discovered how to make Silksong slightly less challenging.
Certainly, in this era, everything appears achievable with a concept, programming abilities, and some determination. So it’s no surprise that more of the industry is aiming to assist that ever-growing customization network, and that our pals at Fextralife are joining the effort. This week, the resource hub announced it would broaden its services with FXMods, an innovative gaming modification site created for players who seek a fast, complimentary, and unlimited customizations to enrich their favorite games.
FXMods promises to be a free platform with full-speed downloading, no queue, and connection to the larger Fextralife wiki system, which seeks to enable developers to gain more exposure as users encounter their downloadables alongside additional resources.
What’s the hope for the initiative? I asked Matt Hook from Fextralife, who has been deeply involved in guiding the launch.
The core of our effort is really trying to focus on the community’s needs,” Hook explains. “We want a great experience for mod users to be able to access modifications swiftly and simply, and we want to recognize mod creators and members of the community with recognition and incentives.”
